Please be advised that the VE Day ceremony and reception planned for May 7th at the Manitoba Legislature and the Candlelight Service planned for May 8th at Brookside Cemetery have been cancelled.
Stay safe everyone. Stay home if
you possibly can. If you absolutely must go out, maintain social distancing of
at least 2 meters (6 feet) between you and any other person. On TV on April 07, Dr.
Tam recommended that if you MUST go out and you MIGHT have been exposed to
COVID19, please wear a mask – even a homemade one or a bandana. This will NOT
protect you (according to the doctor) but it MIGHT help protect others that you
inadvertently come into contact with. Continue to practice social distancing.
Continue to stay home as much as possible.
Meanwhile, keep your stick on
the ice; we’re all pullin’ for ya. Remember, we’re all in this together!
