Here at last is a new Newsletter, based on the Minutes of meetings in October and November 2024, kindly passed along by Comrade T. Taplin.

President T. Williams reported that last year’s donation to cadets of 20% of Poppy Fund worked out to $4700.00 and recommended a donation of $4500.00 this year.

At the Quarry Days wrap up meeting it was discussed that the Legion started Quarry Days and yet has no presence on the advertising brochures, etc. [Editor’s Note:  this has come up at Quarry Days meetings in the past. Apparently quite a few people are unaware of the Legion’s contributions to the town, past or present. ]
